SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's soccer program (1-11-2, 0-2-1 WCC) returns home in search of a WCC victory, hosting Saint Mary's (7-5-2, 1-3-0 WCC) on Wednesday at 7 p.m., at Torero Stadium.  
 
LAST TIME OUT

• The Toreros delivered a strong opening half, but ultimately lost momentum, falling 4-0 to Portland on Saturday.
• Talei Moodie nearly struck for her first collegiate goal in the dying seconds of the first half.

 
WHAT TO WATCH FOR

• San Diego leads the all-time series 18-12-1 and in the last meeting, the two sides played to a 2-2 draw in Moraga, Calif.
• San Diego's offense is slowly rounding into form, with goals in three of the last six games.
• The Toreros are averaging 8.0 shots per game over their last seven games after averaging 6.4 over the previous five games.
• The newcomers have inserted themselves into the offense, with Lexi Zandonella-Arasa as the leading goal scorer and three new players ranking in the top-five on the team in shots (Olivia Stone, Zandonella-Arasa and Mikayla Abrenica).
• The defense is also finding its form, allowing three of their four lowest output of shots against in the last six games.
• Much is spurred by the return of Kylie Perez from injury at the center back position, alongside her fellow freshman Kamryn Simpson and junior transfer Aba Dunbar.

• Kevorkian leads the WCC and ranks 26th in the nation in saves per game (5.50) and 31st in total saves (77).
