SAN FRANCISCO – The San Diego women's soccer program (1-13-2, 0-5-1 WCC) dropped a 3-0 decision to San Francisco (6-6-3, 3-1-1 WCC) on Saturday night at Negoesco Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both sides came out of the gate aggressively, as the Toreros were led early on by Talei Moodie.
- Moodie found multiple scoring opportunities throughout the day, leading the team with four shots on the night.
- The Dons struck first in the 32nd minute, as Lindsey Chau beat goalkeeper Ilise Medrano for a 1-0 lead.
- The Toreros would allow no more and go into the break down a goal.
- Moodie tried to set the tone in the second half, with another possible scoring chance that was saved by the San Francisco goalkeeper.
- Ultimately, the Dons would pull away late in the game, getting goals in the 68th and 84th minute to extend the lead to 3-0.
- San Diego was unable to break through late, despite a few late corner kicks.

- Kylie Smith crossed 1,000 minutes this season with 67 tonight, crossing the mark for the first time in her career.
