SEATTLE, WA – In the final day of the ITA Indoor National Championships, No. 7 Virginia defeated the No. 17 University of San Diego women's tennis team, 4-1.
The Cavaliers earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (6-1) and No. 2 (6-2). At No. 3,
Claudia De Las Heras and
Jordyn McBride won 6-2.
After Virginia took a 3-0 overall lead with two singles wins, McBride got USD on the board at No. 6 singles by a score of 6-3, 6-2.
Virginia clinched the win with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 1.
