SAN FRANCISCO - The No. 25 University of San Diego women's tennis team remained perfect in league play on Saturday, defeating San Francisco on the road, 5-2.
The Dons captured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2, but San Diego answered with five singles wins.
Solymar Colling earned a swift 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 1.
Elizabeth Goldsmith tied the match at 2-2 with a win at No. 3 singles.
Filippa Bruu-Syversen (No. 6),
Abigail Desiatnikov (No. 4), and
Jordyn McBride (No. 5) sealed the overall win.
USD improves to 10-6 (4-0 WCC) on the season, and will travel to No. 13 Stanford tomorrow.
