SAN DIEGO – The No. 22 San Diego men's soccer program (4-1-1, 0-0-0 WCC) is set to wrap up their five-game home swing on Wednesday at 7 p.m., hosting California Baptist (1-3-1, 0-0-0 WAC) at Torero Stadium.  
 
LAST TIME OUT

• The Toreros scored early and often, rolling to a 6-1 victory over George Washington on Sunday afternoon.
• San Diego scored their most goals in a single game since an 11-0 victory over Rider on Sept. 17, 2006, which is a school record.
• Christian Vigil led the way with two goals, while Ethan Warne recorded two assists. Mason Tunbridge, Cesar Bahena and Samy Kanaan scored the remaining four goals in what became a historic afternoon at Torero Stadium.

 
WHAT TO WATCH FOR

• The Toreros have rejoined the top-25 after a one-week reprieve, ranking No. 22 in the country according to the United Soccer Coaches.
• The Toreros also moved up to No. 22 in the College Soccer News poll.
• Warne was named the WCC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time on Monday. Warne finished last week with a goal and two assists, while playing standout defense.
• San Diego is looking to snap a three-game skid against the Lancers, trailing 3-1 in the all-time series.
• The Toreros lead the WCC and rank fifth in the nation in total goals (14) and points (43), while also ranking eighth in the nation in goal differential (9) and assists (15).
• Tunbridge is fourth in the nation in assists with four and second in the WCC.

 
TORERO TIDBITS

• Tunbridge now has 27 points in his last 27 games, dating back to Nov. 5, 2021 against Pacific.
• San Diego is undefeated when scoring two or more goals and scoring first so far this season.
