SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's soccer program (1-4-1, 0-0-0 WCC) continues their brief road swing, traveling to Flagstaff, Ariz., to face Northern Arizona (3-2-2, 0-0-0 Big Sky) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
- Sophine Kevorkian delivered a career-high 14 saves, but it wasn't enough as the Toreros fell, 1-0, at Cal State Fullerton on Thursday night.
- The Toreros weathered the storm for much of the game, but a late chance from Sara Evans was stopped and allowed the Titans to emerge with a win.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- In the last meeting between the two sides in 2022, the Toreros tied the Lumberjacks, 1-1, with assists on the Torero goal from current Toreros Maronne Suzuki and Ashley Wright.
- The Toreros are 6-2-1 all-time against the Big Sky and have not lost to a current member of the conference since 2007.
- The newcomers have quickly inserted themselves into the offense, as three new players rank in the top-four on the team in shots (Olivia Stone, Mikayla Abrenica and Tamia Graham).
