TEMPE, Ariz. –  USD Men's Tennis' competition at the ITA Southwest Regionals was capped with a silver medal in the doubles draw and a bronze in the singles draw.
 
It was graduate student Savriyan Danilov that landed on the podium twice, falling just one win short of NCAA Individual Championships in both singles and doubles but capping an overall successful week by going 5-1 in singles. He also made the doubles final with senior Iiro Vasa.
 
Junior Neo Niedner and Stian Klaassen also advanced to the doubles semifinal, going 3-1 together in the tournament. Klaassen, already an All-American and ITA All-American Championships title winner, also went 3-1 in singles play despite a first-round exit.
 
 
The Toreros will get another chance to qualify for the Nov. 18-23 NCAA Individual Championships, but first they next travel to the Battle in the Bayou, taking place in Baton Rouge, La. from Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, the third.
