SAN DIEGO – Three San Diego tennis players were dropped from their final respective NCAA Individual Championships qualifying opportunity on Thursday.
On the women's side, seniors
Claudia De Las Heras and
Kailey Evans fell in the second rounds of the ITA Conference Masters (Rome, Ga.) and ITA West Sectionals (Los Angeles, Calif.) respectively. USD graduate student
Savriyan Danilov suffered defeat in the first round of the Men's ITA West Sectional in Malibu, Calif.
This leaves national champions and 2024 ITA All-American title sweepers, junior
Oliver Tarvet (singles, doubles) and
