SAN DIEGO – Fresh off a pair of wins, the San Diego women's basketball program (7-18, 3-9 WCC) is set for their final two home games of the season, hosting Santa Clara (21-7, 9-4 WCC) on Thursday at 6 p.m., and welcoming Saint Mary's (11-15, 4-8 WCC) on Saturday at 2 p.m., for senior day at the Jenny Craig Pavilion.
LAST TIME OUT
- San Diego earned a clean sweep of the week's action, rolling to a 66-50 win over LMU on February 17.
- Dylan Horton shined with 18 points, while Veronica Sheffey added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
OPPONENT HISTORY
- San Diego is 44-41 all-time against the Broncos, but are looking to avenge a loss back on February 8.
- Harsimran Kaur has been particularly effective against Santa Clara, scoring a career-high 18 points in the last meeting.
- The Toreros are 23-48 all-time against Saint Mary's, but have played them very closely in recent years, including a tight matchup earlier this year.

- San Diego enters on a hot streak, winning three of their last four games in conference, with all three wins coming at home.
- Horton and Kasey Neubert are on the chase for 1,000 points in their collegiate careers, as both will have tight finishes for the milestone.
- Horton (977) needs 23 more points, while Neubert (894) needs 106.
- A key determining factor for the success of the Toreros is the disbursement of scoring, as the team has won all of their games when at least three or more players score in double figures.
- Sheffey ranks third in the WCC and 40th in the nation in assists (129) and third in the WCC and 35th nationally in assists per game (5.2).
- Her start in the assist category is potentially historic, as only two Toreros have ever averaged over five assists per game over a full season (Amanda Rego (twice) and Lori Morris).
- In addition, Sheffey continues to rank among the top five in the WCC in free throw attempts and made free throws.
- Neubert continues to average nearly a double-double per game and has nine over 19 games this season. She ranks 44th nationally and third in the WCC in double-doubles.
- Neubert also ranks second in the WCC and 37th in the nation in rebounds per game (9.8), as well as fifth in the conference in total rebounds (196).
- Kaur ranks third in the WCC in blocks per game (1.16) and total blocks (29).
