SAN DIEGO – The San Diego women's basketball program (8-19, 4-10 WCC) returns to action for the final two games of the regular season, traveling to Stockton, Calif., to face Pacific (15-12, 7-7 WCC) on Thursday at 6 p.m., and to San Francisco (12-15, 8-6 WCC) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
- San Diego honored their senior class in style, cruising to a 69-52 win over Saint Mary's on Saturday afternoon.
- Dylan Horton reached a personal milestone of 1,000 points in her career, while Veronica Sheffey led the team in scoring with 19 points and seven assists.
- Kasey Neubert also shined, recording her 11th double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
OPPONENT HISTORY
- San Diego continues to hold a 22-13 lead over Pacific in the all-time series, but will look to snap a two-game skid.
- The Toreros have won their last two games in Stockton, but the Toreros haven't had the same success at home, despite 17 points from Sheffey in the last meeting this season.
- San Diego is 44-35 against the Dons in the all-time series and will look to continue the success they found in the last game.
- The Toreros won a convincing, 77-66 matchup over San Francisco on Feb. 3, behind 22 points from Horton.

- The Toreros are currently eighth in the WCC, but sit just one game out of sixth place, with WCC Tournament seeding still to be decided.
- Neubert (919) is on the chase for 1,000 points in her collegiate career and needs 81.
- A key determining factor for the success of the Toreros is the disbursement of scoring, as the team has won all of their games when at least three or more players score in double figures.
- Sheffey ranks third in the WCC and 38th in the nation in assists (141) and third in the WCC and 32nd nationally in assists per game (5.2).
- Her start in the assist category is potentially historic, as only two Toreros have ever averaged over five assists per game over a full season (Amanda Rego (twice) and Lori Morris).
- In addition, Sheffey continues to rank among the top five in the WCC in free throw attempts and made free throws.
- Neubert continues to average nearly a double-double per game and has 11 over 21 games this season. She ranks 39th nationally and second in the WCC in double-doubles.
- Neubert also ranks second in the WCC and 31st in the nation in rebounds per game (10.0), as well as third in the conference in total rebounds (220).
- Harsimran Kaur ranks third in the WCC in blocks per game (1.11) and total blocks (30).
