Box Score STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 14 San Diego men's tennis program (10-2, 1-0 WCC) earned their biggest road victory of the season, defeating No. 26 Oklahoma State (11-4, 0-0 Big 12), 4-2 on Sunday afternoon at the Greenwood Tennis Center.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• In their first match back since their eight-match win streak was snapped on Friday, the Toreros were hungry for an early advantage.
• Savriyan Danilov and Lambert Ruland cruised in their opening doubles match, while both remaining matches went to tiebreakers.
• Ultimately, Stian Klaassen and Oliver Tarvet earned a 7-5 tiebreaking win to put San Diego up 1-0.
• From there, the Toreros attempted to turn the lights off on the hosts, as Danilov got off to a terrific start and won his matchup, 6-3, 6-2 to make it 2-0.
• Vasa was next and took home his first ranked victory since Nov. 5, 2023, earning a convincing 6-4, 6-3 decision over No. 63 Alex Garcia.
• However, the Cowboys kept up the pressure and won a key tiebreaker in the second set on court two to make it 3-2.
• While Sacchitt Sharrma got off to a strong start, his opponent rallied to take the second set and led in the third.
• With all eyes on court five and the pressure on San Diego mounting, Klaassen entered his second tiebreaker of the match and it went the distance.
• However, Klaassen hung on to clinch the match with an 8-6 win and secure the decisive fourth point.
