SAN DIEGO – The No. 14 San Diego men's tennis program (10-2, 1-0 WCC) is set to co-host the annual Ed Collins Spring Classic, alongside San Diego State from Friday to Sunday.
The Toreros will open the event against Utah (3-7, 0-0 PAC-12) on Friday at 2 p.m., before facing either No. 75 Texas Tech (7-6, 0-0 Big 12) or South Florida (8-9, 0-0 AAC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. Sunday will feature one final match at a to-be-determined time.
LAST TIME OUT
- San Diego earned their biggest ranked road win of the season, downing No. 26 Oklahoma State, 4-2 on Sunday.
- Stian Klaassen proved to the headliner in the win, earning a tiebreaking win in doubles and singles to clinch both the doubles point and the match.

- Iiro Vasa ranks No. 85 in the nation in singles, while Klaassen and Sacchitt Sharrma check in at No. 34 in the country in doubles.
- Tarvet has already tallied two WCC Singles Player of the Week honors and has maintained a strong grip on the No. 1 singles position, entering the weekend at 20-5 overall.
- In addition, Tarvet has taken home five WCC Doubles Team of the Week awards, tallying three with Vasa and his last two with Klaassen.
