Kylie Horstmeyer has been selected to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, as the conference announced on Wednesday.
Â
In addition,
Melesungu Afeaki was named an All-WCC Academic Team honorable mention selection for the first time. It's the first All-WCC Academic Team award for Horstmeyer, who was an honorable mention selection last year.

Hortsmeyer has been an anchor down the stretch for the Toreros offense, while pursuing a degree in international relations.
Â
Afeaki earns the nod for the first time, while serving as an important reserve for the Toreros. Known for her rebounding, Afeaki has been called on as an energetic player across 26 games this year.
Â
The Toreros will tip-off at the Credit Union 1 WCC Basketball Championship in Las Vegas, Nev., on Thursday against the No. 9 seed Pepperdine at 12 p.m.
