STOCKTON, Calif. – The No. 13 San Diego men's tennis program (17-3, 4-1 WCC) dropped a heartbreaking, 4-3 decision to Pacific (14-1, 4-0 WCC) to end their three-match road trip on Sunday afternoon at the Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In a fourth-straight day of match play, the Toreros headed to Stockton, Calif., where they found some early success in doubles.
- All three pairs emerged with early breaks, as the Toreros promptly took the doubles point.
- Sacchitt Sharrma and Iiro Vasa earned a ranked win at the top spot, downing No. 53 Peter Alam and Justas Trainauskas in a 6-3 decision.
- However, the Tigers rallied in singles, taking four of the first six sets.
- Despite a dominant showing from Stian Klaassen, who breezed to a 6-1, 6-0 win, the Toreros found themselves playing from behind in a number of matches.
- While the Tigers got a win on court one, Vasa was able to rally from a first set loss to take the match and put San Diego up 3-1.
- However, the Tigers were able to secure a pair of victories just two minutes later, forcing Savriyan Danilov into a decisive match.
- Danilov had recovered from dropping the opening set to take the second set and force a third.
- Both Danilov and his opponent held serve every step of the way, sending the final match to a tiebreaker.
- However, the Tigers emerged with a 7-5 win in the tiebreaker to take the match.
