SAN FRANCISCO — Strong performances on the mound from both
Josh Randall and
Calvin Schapira helped San Diego baseball (35-13, 18-4 WCC) out-duel San Francisco (20-29, 3-16 WCC) on Friday afternoon, earning a hard-fought 2-1 victory in 13 innings at Benedetti Diamond.

Calvin Schapira threw the entirety of extra innings for the Toreros and kept the Dons off the board through the game's final four frames, which set the stage for Dustin Allen to drive in the go-ahead win in the 13th inning with an RBI single.
