SAN DIEGO – The No. 18 San Diego men's tennis program (22-3, 7-1 WCC) is set to open their run at the 2024 NCAA Tournament, facing No. 39 Baylor (18-11, 2-5 Big 12) in the first round on Friday at 8 a.m. PT, at the Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.
Should the Toreros win, they would face the winner of host No. 15 seed Texas A&M (18-10, 7-5 SEC) or No. 45 Rice (17-8, 5-2 AAC) on Saturday at 4 p.m. PT.
LAST TIME OUT
- San Diego completed a sweep of both the regular season and tournament titles, downing Pepperdine, 4-1 to secure the WCC Tournament championship on Apr. 27.
- The Toreros rallied from a doubles point loss to steamroll through singles and win the title after a reprieve last season.
