SAN DIEGO – With a program-best preseason ITA ranking of No. 16, San Diego Men's Tennis kicks off the 2025 dual season Saturday with a home match against Oklahoma State on Saturday.
The first match of the 10
th season – the decade mark – under head coach
Ryan Keckley is set for a 10 a.m. first serve Saturday. The Toreros kick off a campaign to three-peat as West Coast Conference Champions.
USD is led by the nation's top-ranked doubles team, juniors
Stian Klaassen and

The
Toreros were picked to finish first in the WCC Preseason Poll on Tuesday, Jan. 7, with six of eight first place votes. San Diego also owned three of the six All-WCC Preseason Team members: Tarvet, Klaassen and graduate student
Savriyan Danilov.
Headlined by the nation's No. 1 ranked doubles pairing, six different Toreros are featured in the ITA preseason individual rankings. Tarvet leads the contingent in the singles rankings at No. 15, while Danilov ranks at No. 29 and Klaassen at No. 71. USD has three other ranked doubles teams in 39th, 82nd and 88
th. As a team, the Toreros are the second-highest ranked mid-major team in the country.
Keckley and his staff made two additions to his squad; former European and Swiss national champion
Adrien Berrut and Oregon High School Athlete of the Year
Will Semler join the team at the Hogan Tennis Center on America's Most Beautiful Campus. All the while, experienced pieces return such as multiple-time WCC First Teamer
Iiro Vasa, German juniors
Lambert Ruland and
Neo Niedner, high-energy pieces
Blake Kasday and
Nikhil Niranjan, in addition to Tarvet, Klaassen and Danilov.
The 2025 dual schedule has the
Toreros slated for 16 non-conference matches, seven as a part of the WCC, 12 total at the home confines of the Hogan Tennis Center and several against nationally ranked and prominent teams.
