SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Following a phenomenal individual performance in the last match of the regular season, San Diego's sophomore midfielder
Iain Wagner has been named the West Coast Conference's offensive player of the week.
Wagner contributed a goal and an assist in USD's 4-2 take down of Oregon State last Saturday to help USD earn their fourth straight WCC title and a first round bye to the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Coming into his own as a key contributor, Wagner led the way for the Toreros with eight goals during the 2025 season and totaled four assists for 20 total points on the season. Wagner is now the third USD student-athlete to take home the conference's weekly award as
Simon Duus Muller and
Noah James each earned the hardware earlier this season.
