HOW IT HAPPENED: LMU 14, SAN DIEGO 3

With two away in the frame, Joecellia Roberts delivered a line drive triple into the right field corner that scored Hernandez and Pinedo for USD's first runs of game one.

- Braegelmann continued her strong outing by putting up consecutive zeros in the second and third inning to keep her team's lead at four heading to the middle innings.

Coming off the bench and delivering a key hit, Dalia Powell drove in Combs while Joyner delivered a knock to left center that scored Johnson to make it 9-0 San Diego.
