LOS ANGELES — On the hunt for redemption after coming up short against Gonzaga, San Diego women's basketball (9-17, 3-10 WCC) is set for their last road trip of conference play as they head up to Los Angeles to take on the Waves (15-11, 6-8 WCC) at 6:00 p.m on Thursday at the Firestone Fieldhouse and the Lions (17-8, 11-3 WCC) at 4:00 p.m on Saturday at Gersten Pavilion.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PEPPERDINE
• The Toreros are 44-48 against the Waves all-time. This will be the second match-up between the teams this season.

• USD and Pepperdine most recently met on January 10, 2026, when the Toreros defended the Jenny Craig Pavilion in a thrilling 54–51 victory, holding off the Waves in a down-to-the-wire contest.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST LMU
• The Toreros are 54-33 against the Lions all-time. This will be the second match-up between the teams this season.

• USD and LMU most recently met on January 24, 2026, when the Toreros pulled off their biggest upset this season with a 69–60 victory over the Lions.

LAST TIME OUT: TOREROS BATTLE AT HOME, SPLIT WEEKEND IN THE JCP
• The Toreros welcomed Gonzaga to the Jenny Craig Pavilion this past weekend for their second meeting of the season. Despite a gritty, back-and-forth battle, San Diego ultimately fell to the Bulldogs, 66–56.

• Sophomore Kylie Ray paced the Toreros with 25 points and four rebounds, marking her third 20-point performance in the last three contests.

• Freshman Olivia Owens recorded a dominant double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while adding seven assists. The performance marked her third double-double of the season — and her third in the last three games.

Kylie Ray | Sophomore | Guard | La Crescenta, California
• Averaging 16.3 points per game across 24 contests while shooting 36 percent from the field, 36 percent from beyond the arc, and 90 percent from the free throw line. Also leads the Toreros with 49 assists.

• Ranks fourth in the WCC in PPG and is leading the league in free throw percentage.

• Scored a game-high 26 points on January 24 night against LMU.

• Grandfather is former UCLA men's basketball head coach Jim Harrick.

Olivia Owens | Freshman | Guard | Columbus, Ohio
• Leads USD with 40 steals and 1.90 steals per game in 2025-2026, which ranks sixth among all WCC players and are the most of any freshman in the conference.

Eva Ruse | Sophomore| Forward | British Colombia, Canada  • Has totaled 151 rebounds in the 2025–26 season, ranking ninth in the WCC.

• Leads the Toreros with three double-doubles in 2025–26.

• Recorded a career-high 20 points and 18 rebounds in February 7th's win against Seattle U.
