San Diego Returns to JCP for Final Homestand of 2025-2026

Toreros set to host Pacific and Oregon State on Thursday and Saturday night to round out regular-season schedule

SAN DIEGO — As the 2025-2026 regular season comes to a close, San Diego women's basketball (9-20, 3-13 WCC) will have one last chance to defend the Jenny Craig Pavilion. The Toreros will face off against the Beavers (20-9, 12-4 WCC) on Thursday at 6:00 p.m., then play their final regular-season contest against the Tigers (11-16, 6-10 WCC) on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in what will mark their Senior Day.

Braden Surprenant will have the play-by-play call for both games on ESPN+. He will be joined by Alex Miniak (Thursday) and Brian Rosario (Saturday). Live statistics will be available on StatBroadcast and USDToreros.com.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST OREGON STATE
• The Toreros are 2-3 against the Beavers all-time. This will be the second matchup between the teams this season.

• San Diego and Oregon State most recently squared off in a hard-fought battle on January 29, 2026, when San Diego fell to OSU by a 61-43 in a tough road test at Gill Coliseum.

ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST PACIFIC
• The Toreros are 22-15 against the Tigers all-time. This will be the second match-up between the teams this season.

• USD and Pacific most recently met on December 30, 2025, when the Toreros fell just short of victory against the Tigers, 72-68, at the Alex G. Spanos Center.

LAST TIME OUT: TOREROS FALL SHORT IN LOS ANGELES
• San Diego's final road trip of the season ended in a pair of defeats. The Toreros dropped a 76-55 decision at Pepperdine on Thursday before falling by a score of  74-61 in  Saturday's contest  at LMU.

• Kylie Ray led USD in scoring in both contests, scoring 18 against the Waves and 17 against the Lions.

Kylie Ray | Sophomore | Guard | La Crescenta, California
• Averaging 16.3 points per game across 27 contests while shooting 38 percent from the field, 33 percent from beyond the arc, and 89 percent from the free throw line. Also leads the Toreros with 63 assists.

• Ranks fourth in the WCC in points per game, is leading the league in free throw percentage and ranks third among conference players in total points.

• Scored a game-high 26 points on January 24 against LMU.

• Grandfather is former UCLA men's basketball head coach Jim Harrick.

Olivia Owens | Freshman | Guard | Columbus, Ohio
• Leads USD with 45 steals and 1.60 steals per game in 2025-2026, which ranks 12th among all WCC players.

• Ranks third on the team for free throw percentage (.705)

Eva Ruse | Sophomore| Forward | British Colombia, Canada  • Has totaled 151 rebounds in the 2025–26 season, ranking tenth in the WCC.

• Leads the Toreros with three double-doubles in 2025–26.

• Recorded a career-high 20 points and 18 rebounds in Saturday, February 7th's win against Seattle U.
