SOPHOMORE (2015): Played 47 games with 34 starts... hit .294 with three homeruns, two doubles, and 19 RBI... helped lead the team to the WCC championship...went 2-2 with a walk against No. 7 Mississippi State (3/6/15)... went 3-5 with three RBI and one homerun against No. 12 Cal State Fullerton (3/10/15)... went 4-6 with four RBI against BYU (3/27/15)... went 2-4 with one homerun and one RBI against LMU (5/2/15)...went 3-4 with one RBI against Portland (3/14/15)...had nine total multi-hit games. FRESHMAN (2014): Played 34 games with 19 starts... hit .240 with one home run, four doubles, and seven RBI... went 2-for-3 with one double and two RBI against Baylor (3/2)... went 3-for-3 with one double against Long Beach State (4/21)... went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI against San Diego Christian (4/30). HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Granada High School...earned four varsity letters...as a senior he hit .390 with one home run, six doubles, one triple and 23 RBI en route to first-team All-East Bay and third team All-State selections...as a senior, helped lead his team to a 24-2 overall record, claiming the East Bay Athletic League championship, and the team was ranked No. 5 in the state of California...as a junior, he hit .313 with three home runs, seven doubles and 20 RBI...helped lead his team to the semi finals of the NCS championship...as a sophomore, he hit .360 with one home run, six doubles and 23 RBI en route to a first-team All-East Bay Athletic League and a third-team All-East Bay...as a freshman, he hit .300 with five home runs, five doubles and 15 RBI en route to an honorable mention All-East Bay Athletic League selection. PERSONAL: Ryan Kirby was born on Jan. 25, 1995 in San Ramon, Calif....he is the son of Patrick and Laura Kirby...his father, Patrick, played baseball at Cal Poly...notes he started every baseball games on varsity all four years of his high school career.
