SOPHOMORE (2015): Played 16 games with 10 starts... hit .292 with seven hits, one double, and six RBI... helped lead the team to the WCC championship...went 2-3 against No. 7 Mississippi State (3/8/15)... went 1-2 with one double and two RBI against UC Irvine (4/28/15). FRESHMAN (2014): Played for the Toreros as a catcher/outfielder on a team that posted a 34-20 overall record, and just missed making the WCC Tournament. HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at La Costa Canyon High School, playing for coach Justin Machado...as a senior, he hit .300...as a junior, he hit .395 and was named the Offensive Player of the Year en route to helping lead his team to the CIF Championship, San Diego section. PERSONAL: Andrew Soloman was born on Mar. 19, 1995 in La Jolla, Calif....he is the son of Brian and Kimara Soloman...chose to attend USD because of the great history with his family, and the amazing campus.
