RS Junior (2013): Played in 18 games, making 5 starts on the year... Scored 3 goals, including a game-winner against Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 8)... Registered 10 shots on the season.
RS Sophomore (2012): Named WCC Player of the Week on Oct. 8... Appeared in 20 games, making 14 starts... Scored four goals on the year... Registered 19 shots with eight shots on goal.
Sophomore (2011): Only appeared in two games before an injury cut his season short.
Freshman (2010): Played in 19 games, starting two in his first season at USD... Scored his first career goal, a game-winner, against Houston Baptist (Sept. 26)... Also scored against Loyola Marymount (Oct. 13)... Tallied 12 shots with six shots on goal.
High School: Attended Mater Dei High School... Earned four varsity letters for head coach Jorge Zavala... Was team captain as a senior, helping lead his team to the CIF semifinals... Named All-CIF first-team as a junior, while also earning Player of the Month honors for the month of March... Played on CIF and state championship teams his junior year... Was his team[apos]stop scorer as a sophomore and junior and was a four-year starter... Also played with FC San Diego.
Personal: Born November 17, 1992 in San Diego, Calif.... Parents are Sergio and Maria Lopez... Chose USD for the coaches, the location, and the atmosphere... Was also recruited by Harvard, Brown, Cincinnati, New Mexico, Georgetown, and San Diego State... Enjoys surfing and playing beach soccer and volleyball.
