Started in 20 matches at center back... Tallied 19 shots on the year.
RS Junior (2013): Named 1st Team All-WCC... Named to the WCC All-Academic Team and was a Capital One Academic All-District selection (3.9 GPA)... Played in 18 games on the year, starting 17... Scored his lone goal at Portland (Oct. 11)... Had an assist against LMU (Oct. 2)... Tallied 17 shots on the year.
RS Sophomore (2012): Named 2nd Team All-WCC and 3rd Team NSCAA All-Region... Scored two goals on the year, including one at Georgetown in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament on Dec. 1... Started all 22 games he appeared in... Scored the game-winning goal at Loyola Marymount on Oct. 10... Overall, registered 20 shots with six shots on goal... Named to the WCC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.97 GPA.
Previous College: Previously played at Cal State Los Angeles... Scored four goals and started every game at center back during his redshirt freshman season... Named first-team All-CCAA and Daktronics first-team All-West Region... Was team[apos]s MVP and CSULA Student Athlete of the Year... An injury prevented him from competing as a redshirt sophomore, but his team advanced to the quarterfinals of the national playoffs... Attended Hochschule Furtwangen University in Germany his freshman year but did not play soccer.
High School: Attended Erasmus Gymnasium Denzlingen... Played for FC Denzlingen... Played for pre-stage of German National Team between ages 10 and 18.
Personal: Born February 21, 1989 in Freiburg, Germany... Son of Hermann and Eike Ringhof... Chose USD because of the great soccer program, top mechanical engineering program and the beautiful city of San Diego... Was also recruited by Georgetown, Cal State Bakersfield, UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton... Played a variety of sports growing up, including tennis and volleyball... Was a top tennis player in southwestern Germany between ages of 12 and 16 before choosing to focus on soccer... Loves to travel and visited Australia and New Zealand for a year after graduating from high school.
