Played in 19 games at the guard position...helped the team reach the FInal Four of the WNIT... helped the team record a program-best 24-9 overall record...helped the team finish in a tie for second place in the WCC, with a 12-4 mark, which set a new program record for most WCC wins in program-history ...contributed three points on two separate occasions (against CSU Bakersfield on 12/28/11) and against Pepperdine (1/12/12)...scored a total of 10 points for the season.

Played varsity basketball at Canyon Spring High School...as a senior, she helped lead her team to the CIF Southern Region Division I Section championship game after averaging 4.5 ppg, 4.8, rpg, 1.6 steals-per-game and 1.8 apg...as a junior, she helped lead her team to the CIF semifinals and the state quarterfinals after averaging 2.0 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.1 steals-per-game, and 1.5 apg...during her sophomore year, she helped the team reach the CIF championship game and the state quarterfinal round, while averaging 3.0 ppg...during her freshman season, she helped lead the team to the CIF quarterfinals...she also helped lead her team to four league championships...she also lettered in track and volleyball.

Sophie Ederaine was born on May 13, 1993 in Lagos, Nigeria...she is the daughter of Alfred and Patience Ederaine... was also recruited by Nebraska, Vanderbilt, UC Riverside, and San Diego State...chose to attend USD because of the excellent academic program and a very competitive women's basketball program...she is the twin sister of USD teammate Sophia Ederaine and her brother, Clifford, plays basketball for Eastern Washington University.
