SOPHOMORE (2012-13: Played in 10 games at the point guard position for the Toreros... helped the team post a second consecutive 20-win season, and helped the team reach the second round of the WNIT...scored a total of 11 points with a season-high of five coming against Point Loma (12/4/12)...scored four points against San Jose State (11/25/12). FRESHMAN (2011-12): Played in three games at the guard position... Scored two points against CSU Bakersfield (12/28/11) and at Santa Clara (1/9/12)... helped lead the team into the Final Four of the WNIT...helped the team record a program-best 24-9 overall record...helped the team finish in a tie for second place in the WCC, with a 12-4 mark, which set a new program record for most WCC wins in program-history. HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco, Calif...she lettered in varsity basketball, softball and track and field...helped lead her team to back-to-back Division III Nor Cal Championships as well as back-to-back CCS championships as a freshman and sophomore...in her senior season, she averaged 10 points-per-game, 6.0 assists-per-game, 5.0 steals-per-game , and 3.0 rebounds-per-game en route to an All-WCAL honorbale mention and she was named her team[apos]s best deffensive player...as a junior, she averaged 8.0 ppg, 5.0 apg, 4.0 spg, and 3 rpg en route to being her team[apos]s MVP...as a sophomore, she averaged 8.0 ppg, 4.0 apg, 4.0 spg, and 2.0 pgg...as a freshman she averaged 6.0 ppg, 3.0 apg, 3.0 spg, and 2.0 rpg...she was a four-time first honor roll member of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory...she was Sacred Heart Cathedral[apos]s athlete of the month for December 2009, and again in January 2011. PERSONAL: Tomisha Miller was born on February 28, 1993 in San Francisco, Calif....she is the daughter of Audrey Breiz...chose to attend USD because of the great education opportunities the university has to offer, the nice San Diego environment, beautiful campus, and USD is close enough to her home...notes that she was born with a tooth...she writes with her left hand, but does everything else with my right hand...she loves to dance and eat a lot of food...she is a first generation college student for her family...and she is half African American and half Filipino...she also notes that played for the MRC REBELS for 10 years and was coached by Oscar Jimenez who passed away on December 14, 2010, and Jimenez was like a second father to her.
