JUNIOR (2008): Played in 55 games with 38 starts at first base...hit .336 with 50 hits, nine doubles, five home runs and 26 RBI... helped the team win the WCC regular-season championship and advance to the championship game of the Long Beach Regional...was named All-WCC Honorable Mention...helped the team post a program-best 16-game winning streak...went 2-for-6 with two home runs, one of which was a grand slam, and had six RBI against Loyola Marymount (4/27/08)...went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one home run and two RBI against Gonzaga (4/5/08)...went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI against UC Riverside (4/8/08)...went 3-for-5 with two doubles and one RBI against Portland (4/11/08)...went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI against UC Riverside (4/9/08)...went 3-for-5 with one double and three RBI against Hawaii - Hilo (3/16/08). SOPHOMORE (2007): Played in eight games with one start...played a role in helping USD win the regular-season WCC Championship...helped team achieve a program-best No. 4 national ranking...posted a .200 batting average recording one hit in five at bats...his lone hit of the season came in a loss to Texas (2/3/07). Freshman (2006): Played in seven games, starting in four...posted a .267 batting average registering four hits on the season...came up big in the Toreros come-from-behind win against Santa Clara as he had a huge hit in the bottom of the ninth to keep the rally alive for USD (5/5/06)...went 2-for-4 during his first start of the season against Santa Clara (5/6/06).

Freshman (2005): Redshirted at the University of San Diego. High School: Posted outstanding numbers as a prep third baseman and first baseman at nearby Castle Park High School... Was named the South Bay Player of the Year in 2004 after batting .423 and leading the Trojans into postseason play... Also honored as a First Team All-South Bay performer as a senior and junior... Hit .483 as during his junior campaign... Led all South Bay players in a number of offensive categories during his prep career spanning three award-winning seasons... Coached by Joaquin Sosa at Castle Park. Personal: Born May 30, 1986 in Chula Vista, California to parents Jose and Yolanda... Was also recruited by Hawaii and San Diego State... Chose to attend USD because of the academics, baseball team and location close to home.
