Made 11 total appearances and totaled five and one third innings pitched... Worked a season-high one and a third innings in his first outing as a Torero at Cal Poly SLO (1-23-04).

Prep/College: Comes to USD after attending Texas Tech... Originally graduated from USDHS (across the street from USD) where he was a four-year starter and earned All-League and All-Region honors... Enrolled at Grossmont Junior College in the San Diego area... Went 5-2 with a 2.99 ERA over 75 plus innings of work during his freshman season at Grossmont... Was a dean[apos]s list student (3.5 GPA) at Texas Teach in 2003.

Personal: Born on December 5, 1981 in Billings, Montana... Son of John and Nancy Martin... Hobbies include fishing and hunting... Majoring in Sociology at USD... Chose to transfer to USD because of the winning baseball tradition and the excellent academics.
