Scored two goals in her first career match, helping Toreros beat San Jose State (8/23/13)... Also scored in her second career match (vs. USC 8/25/13)... Recorded lone assist of season in Toreros 2-0 win at Kansas (9/13/13)... Scored one goal in each of the Toreros wins against Cal State Northridge (9/1/13 and 9/22/13)... Also scored against Nebraska in Kansas Invitational (9/15/13)... Named to USD Invitational All-Tournament Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Xavier College Preparatory...as a senior, she helped her team win the Arizona State Division I Championship...as a senior, was named Arizona Player of the Year, Phoenix Player of the Year, first-team All-Arizona, first-team All-Region and was a AIA Scholar Athlete...as a junior, helped her team become a Arizona State Semifinalist in Division I...as a junior, was named the Phoenix Player of the Year, first-team All-Arizona, first-team All-Phoenix, first-team All-State Division I and was a AIA Scholar athlete...as a sophomore, was a first-team All-Arizona selection, named first-team All-Phoenix and was a AIA Scholar athlete...as a freshman she was named All-Arizona honorable mention, and helped the team win the Arizona State Championship...was a AIA Scholar Athlete as a freshman as well.
CLUB: Played for the SC del Sol club team...helped her team win the 2011 State championship.
PERSONAL: Sydney Michaela Dooley was born on Nov. 18, 1994 in San Diego, Calif....was also recruited by by Pepperdine, Gonzaga, Harvard, Saint Mary[apos]s, Air Force and West Point...chose to attend USD because she feels that this university can give her the highest level of education...notes she used to be a goalkeeper, and she loves to ride horses.
