2000 All-WCC First Team

Junior in 2002: Played and started in 20 of USD[apos]s 21 games as a junior... Passed out three assists to total three points, good for a third place tie among USD players in 2002... Has helped USD qualify for three consecutive NCAA Tournaments.

Sophomore in 2001: Standout defensive player starting in 14 of the 16 games she appeared in... Continued to be one of the best defenders in the conference despite missing time due to injury.

Freshman in 2000: Completed a stellar freshman season as a Torero... Was named to the All-West Coast Conference First Team... Selected to the All-West Region Freshman Team while being named to the third team All-West Region squad... Named USD[apos]s Rookie of the Year... Started 18 of USD[apos]s 20 contests... Totaled three assists and 15 shots from her sweeper and defensive position... Started a string of 17 straight games... Was an honor roll student as a freshman.

Prep: In her senior year at La Costa Canyon High School, Alexis was named Most Valuable Player, First Team All-CIF, First Team All-County, Avocado League Player of the Year and Union-Tribune scholar-athlete. She also led her team to an Avocado League Championship while recording 50 goals and 30 assists on the year. Named Second Team All-CIF and Avocado League Player of the Week in her junior campaign... Led her team to a CIF Championship in her sophomore and junior seasons.... Named MVP in sophomore year. Also named MVP in field hockey during freshman year. Her club soccer team, Surf, was Regional finalists, Surf Cup Champions, Nomads Tournament Champions and Pleasonton Champions in 2000.

Personal: Deans list student 2000-03... Majoring in Spanish and member of Spanish Honor Society... Chose USD for its beautiful location, beach access, good education and sports programs... Also recruited by Dartmouth, Cal Poly, Saint Mary[apos]s, Purdue and UC San Diego... Parents are Henry Tubbs and Susan Obeji (O-buh-jee)... Born March 21, 1982 in La Jolla, CA.
