Named the Orange County boys basketball player of the year as team went 26-4 overall and won the Century League championship with an 11-1 record... Averaged 21 points per game while shooting 51 percent from the field... Averaged 8 assists per contest and ranked second on the team in rebounding at 8 caroms a game... His older brother Jerime, who was the Orange County player of the year back in 2007-08, played for the UCLA Bruins... Chose USD for great city and being close to home, strong academics and basketball program... Also recruited by UC Irvine, Florida State, Penn, Santa Clara and UCLA.
