Was the only player on the team to start and play in all 53 of USD[apos]s games... Finished her USD career at 9th among USD[apos]s career batting avg. leaders (.333) and 10th in career doubles (23)... Ranked 8th in the PCSC in batting avg. (.333) and 7th in hits (55)... Led the team with 14 multi-hit games on the year... Put together a nine-game hitting streak and a 13-game on-base streak, both of which were the best on the team... Went a season-best 4-for-4 with a run scored vs. South Dakota State on Mar. 6.
Junior (2012): Named first-team All-Coastal Division and the team[apos]s Offensive Player of the Year... Led the team in hitting with a .364 avg. that included a team-best 51 hits... Added seven doubles, three triples, four home runs and 23 RBI... Was second on the team with a .543 slugging pct.... Started all 45 games in right field... Recorded 12 walks and only 10 strikeouts in 140 at bats... Had a career high four hits vs. Santa Clara (4/15/12)... Played a flawless right field by not committing an error all season... Named to the PCSC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.33 GPA.
Sophomore (2011): Earned second-team PCSC All-Coastal Division honors with a .308 batting average... Made 41 game starts... Totaling 37 hits in 120 at bats... Hitting 7 doubles and 18 RBIs...Scored 16 runs... Earned PCSC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.25 GPA... Had a season-high three hits against Bradley (3/5/11) andSanta Clara (4/23/11)... Drove in a season-high four runs against Santa Clara (4/22/11)... Hit her lone home run of the year against Santa Clara (4/23/11).
Freshman (2010): Made 24 appearances in 2010 for the Toreros... Had four hits with one run scored and tallied three RBI... Named to the PCSC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
High School: Attended Francis W. Parker High School... Earned 4 varsity letters... Team was CIF Div. IV champions 2006-2009... Received the 'Rookie of the Year' award her freshman year... Was 1st team All-CIF in 2007 and 2009... Received the 'Parker Power Award' in 2009.
Personal: Born on June 17, 1991 in San Diego, CA to parents Jim and Annemieke Tomey... Played on the San Diego Power Surge Club Team... Chose to attend USD because of the academics and the location.
