Junior (2011): Earned Second Team All Conference Honors while leading the team with 40 RBIs and 9 homeruns...Made 43 game starts...Was second on the team with a .344 batting average...Totaled 44 hits in 128 at bats...Scored 29 runs.... Tallied three hits in a game on four occassions... Knocked in a season-high six RBI against Saint Mary[apos]s (5/1/11)... Hit twohome runs against UNLV (3/4/11).

Previous College: Played at Point Loma Nazarene fortwo seasons before transferring to USDfor the 2010-2011 school year... As a freshman at PLNU, hit .275 with three home runs and 34 RBI... Her team placed fifth at NAIA Nationals... During her sophomore year, she set a school record with three home runs in a game, whilehitting .331 with seven home runs and 29 RBI on the year... Earned the Champion of Character Award... Her teamtook second in the Golden State Athletic Conference and appeared in the NAIA national tournament... Played with the Canadian National Team in the Oklahoma World Cup and the Pan Am World Championships in Venezuela.

High School: Attended Langley Christian High School... Was a two-year member of the Canadian Junior National Team... Named British Columbia Athlete of the Year as a senior... Hit .441 with 13 home runs and 62 RBI her senior year... Was a World Championship All-Star at second base... Alsocompeted with the Surrey Storm club team, where her team won Canadian Nationals in 2008 and was theCanada Cup Junior Division championsin 2008.

Personal: Born July 26, 1990 in Vancouver, British Columbia... Daughter of Brian and Kim Tieszen... Chose USD because of the beautiful location and strong academics... Was also recruited by Cal Baptist and Minnesota... Her grandfather played for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League.
