Senior (2013): Appeared in 18 games on the year, making two starts... Recorded three hits in 23 at-bats with three RBI.
Junior (2012): Started 12 games, all at DP, while playing in 20 contests overall... Hit .200 with two doubles and two RBI... Named to the PCSC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll with a 3.15 GPA.
Sophomore (2011): Earned PCSC Coastal Division honorable mention honors with 31 game starts and 35 appearances... With a .314 batting average in 86 at bats...Drove in 14 RBI...With 27 hits and 7 runs scored.... Notched a season-high three hits against Wisconsin while also driving in a season-high three RBI(3/11/11).
Freshman (2010): Made one appearance with an at-bat... Named to the PCSC Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll.
High School: Attended Lahainaluna High School... Earned four varsity letters...Was second-team All-League her sophomore, junior and senior years... Also received a varsity letter for volleyball.
Personal: Goes by PoPo... Born in Wailuku, HI to parents Vincent and Maxine Shimizu... Played on the Lahaina Girls and Kaikamahine Club Teams... Chose USD because it is a convenient distance from home, beautiful campus, good engineering program, and the opportunity to earn a Bachelor[apos]s of Science and a Bachelor[apos]s of Arts in 4 ½ years... Also recruited by Alcorn State University, Southwestern University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and Cornell.
