Played and started in all fifty games... Batted .312 for the season and tied for team leader in the offensive categories of runs scored (30), hits (54), doubles (13), and triples (2)... Recorded a 12 game hit streak that included a total of 17 hits, five RBI, five doubles, and one home run (3/11/07-3/31/07)... Went 5-for-10 to close out the regular season with one double and one home run in a double header against Portland State (5/6/07).
2006
Played in 46 and started 45 games... Had 34 hits with one triple and 12 runs... Scored 18 times and had four steals. Hit 2-for-3 against Portland State on April 30, 2006 tallying a triple and a run scored.
2005
Had 28 starts in 37 appearences for San Diego ... had a four-game streak recording one hit and a three-game streak recording two hits ... Scored five runs in the three game series against St. Mary[apos]s ... Went 2-for-2 with two runs in the first game of the series (4-2-05) ... three RBI on one hit and one stolen base against Santa Clara in the final series of the season.
High School
Four-year varsity starter at Bishop Amat Memorial High School where she was teammates with Kathleen Bonja ... named team captain, 2nd Team All-Serra League and Defensive Player of the Year while leading her team to the CIF Division I Quarterfinals in 2004 ... earned the Coaches[apos] Award and 2nd Team All-Serra League honors her junior season ... sophomore year was named 2nd Team All-Del Rey League ... also was team captain and hit .423 for the Santa Fe Springs Rebels club team.
Personal
Born on March 22, 1986... was recruited by Loyola Marymount, Hawaii, New Mexico State and James Madison ... chose USD for the great academics, location and softball program ... her brother, Eric a graduate of Pepperdine, is currently the pitching coach for the USD Baseball team... Theatre Arts major.
