  • Finished with a .991 fielding percentage, committing only four errors while recording 43 assists, 406 putouts, and catching 12 of 23 would-be base stealers

  • Earned all-state honors in 2017
  • Helped lead Kentwood HS to the class 4A championship game in 2017.

PERSONAL 
  • Born on April 12, 1999 in Renton, Washington
  • Parents are Scott and Robin McGuire.  His dad works for Boeing and his mother is a teacher at Kentwood HS. 
  • Oldest brother, Cash, graduated from Seattle University and played baseball there.
  • Middle brother, Reese, committed to USD, was was 14th pick in 2013 MLB Draft first round by Pittsburg Pirates.  Traded to Toronto Blue Jays in 2016 and is currently on the 40-man roster.
  • Grandfather played baseball for Duke University.
  • Enjoys watching and quoting movies.
