- A 2013 graduate of Rocklin High School in Rocklin, California
- Graduated magna cum laude from Cornell with a bachelor's degree in communications with a 3.85 GPA
- Spent the 2017-18 school year attending graduate school at USC and working for Fox Sports
- The 2018-19 season with USD will be his first with a collegiate team since the 2014-15 season
- Was a two-time all-league selection at Rocklin High School
- Named to the 2013 Sacramento Optimist All-Star Game
- High school Nike Scholar-Athlete Award winner
- Made the most free throws of any high school player in the state of California during the 2012-13 season
- Played club basketball with Play Hard Play Smart and helped lead team to the Nike Fab 48 Champions Platinum Division in 2012

- Son of Keith and Adrianne Moss
- Has two siblings, Brandon and Alyssa
- Father, Keith, played basketball at Gavilan College and Sonoma State
- Mother, Adrianne, was a cheerleader at CSUN
- Was on the Dean's List during every semester while at Cornell
- CALS Global Fellow at Cornell - received a full scholarship to live and work in Sydney, Australia, from May-August of 2016
- Enjoys reading, traveling and movies
