In 2017 Jordan Charles completed his second year with the USD football team as a running back
Ranked fourth on the team with 226 rushing yards
Rushed for 80 yards and 63-yard TD on five carries at Jacksonville (10/21)
Chipped in with 10 receptions for 42 yards with a long of 16 vs. Stetson (10/28)
Named to the PFL All-Academic Honor Roll

FRESHMAN (2016)

In 2016 he appeared in eight games and rushed for 117 yards on 30 carries (3.9 yards per carry average)
He rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries against Davidson, and added 28 yards on two carries against Campbell, including an 8-yard touchdown run

HIGH SCHOOL

Jordan attended Ayala HS where he played under coach Randy Reams
He played three varsity seasons, earning 1st Team All-League honors in each of his final two campaigns as a junior (2014) and senior (2015)
In his senior year, he was named Palomares League MVP. Jordan rushed for over 1,000 yards on the ground in both his junior and senior years
He rushed for 259 yards and 2 TDs vs. Claremont, and 161 yards and 2 TDs vs. Diamond Bar
In his junior year, Jordan rushed for 1,012 yards and 7 TDs
He also competed in basketball and track

PERSONAL

He was also recruited by all eight Ivy League universities, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC Davis, Lehigh & Utah State
Preferring the nickname "JC", Jordan plans to major in business finance and to eventually work on Wall Street
His parents are Derick and Angela Charles of Chino Hills, California
Jordan chose USD for its academic reputation, respected coaches, and quality football program
In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing video games, and volunteering at a local animal shelter
