REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2021-2022)
- WCC All-Academic Team
- Competed in seven of the Toreros' races in the 2V8+, the 1V8+, and the 1V4+
- Raced with the USD 1V4+ at the WIRA Championships and the WCC Championships
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2020-21)
- Competed in five of USD’s races in 2021, primarily in the 1V8+
SOPHOMORE (2019-20)
- WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention
- Rowed with the 2V8+ in the No. 3 seat during fall competition
- Placed 11th with the 2V8+ and seventh with the 3V4+ at Head of the American
- Finished fourth with the 2V8+ and third with the V4+ at San Diego Fall Classic
FRESHMAN (2018-19)
- Raced to a second-place finish with 2V8+ at the San Diego Fall Classic
- Competed with the 2V8+ at Head of the American
- Raced with the freshman eight and varsity four at Row for the Cure
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
- Graduated in 2018 from Kamiak High School in Everett, WA
- Rowed with the Everett Rowing Association Club Team from 2014-2018
PERSONAL
- Born in Newport, RI to Robert and Kristin Stengel
- Has one younger brother, Dylan
- Mother, Kristin, competed on the crew team at the Naval Academy
- Anticipating a major in environmental science with a minor in sociology
- Enjoys kickboxing, hiking and reading
