Drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2004 MLB First-Year Player Draft (722 overall, 24th round)

Career: No pitcher in USD history won more important games for the Toreros than Aaron Wilson... Posted numerous shutouts, complete games and earned the league[apos]s Pitcher of the Week on four different occasions... Led the West Coast Conference and ranked 14th in the nation with 11 victories as a senior in 2004... Ranks third all-time at USD in career wins (29)... Ranks eighth in career strikeouts (219) and third in career starts (61)... A clutch performer that brought home USD[apos]s second consecutive West Coast Conference Championship with a complete-game six-hitter against Pepperdine and an NCAA Regional victory with an outstanding performance against Arizona, both in 2003... His career record stands at 29-15 and as mentioned has over 200 career strikeouts.

Junior in 2003: USD[apos]s number two starter as a junior and a huge contributor to the Toreros run of two consecutive West Coast Conference titles... Clutch performer down the stretch, winning in both post season starts... Untouchable in game three of the WCC Championship Series, hurling a complete game six-hitter to give USD the conference crown over Pepperdine (5-25-03)... Went seven strong innings against Arizona (5-31-03) in the NCAA Regionals at Fullerton, Calif. to improve his record to 6-6 and allow San Diego a 5-2 win... Named the WCC Pitcher of the Week (3-31-03) after throwing eight plus innings of shutout ball against WCC division rival Loyola Marymount on the road (3-29-03)... Complete game against Pepperdine in the WCC Championship Series was Wilson[apos]s third of his career... Pitched seven innings of scoreless baseball against CS Northridge (3-2-03) in the Clash of the Conferences Tournament to post a complete-game two hitter in an affair called after the Toreros led 12-0 through seven innings... Fanned eight against San Francisco (3-9-03) in just six and two thirds, matching a career high... Struck out 55 batters on the season, while issuing just 35 walks... Induced 135 groundouts, accounting for 55% of his outs... Appeared in 18 games and started in 16, posted an ERA of 4.55 and a record of 6-6.... Changed numbers midway through the season, wearing both No. 18 and No. 14.

Sophomore in 2002: San Diego[apos]s Sunday starter as a sophomore... Played a key role in helping USD win the WCC Championship... Held an ERA under three for most of the year, finished with a 4.78 ERA which ranked 11th in the WCC... Named the WCC Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game four-hit shutout at Portland (4-24-02)... Began the season by winning first five decisions... Worked five innings and fanned a career-high eight vs. Michigan (3-3-02) to improve to 3-0.

Freshman in 2001: Posted a 2.53 ERA as a freshman... Finished the season with a 5-1 record after starting the year 4-0... Struck out 37 while only walking 21... Totaled 61 innings pitched and allowed 52 hits... Pitched seven innings, scattering five hits and allowing one run in a start against Sacramento State (2-10-01)... Earned his first collegiate save after one inning of work vs. UCSD (3-6-01).

2000: Granted hardship year after suffering season-ending injury... Seven appearances with 3 starts... Earned a 2-1 record in 22.2 innings of work... In first collegiate game tallied 7 K[apos]s while scattering 3 hits over 4.2 innings against Hawaii-Hilo (1-24-00)... Picked up wins over Hawaii-Hilo (1-29-00) and USC (3-14-00) -- limited Trojans to just 1 hit over 3 innings of relief... Gave up just 1 hit in 2 innings of work against San Diego State.

Prep: All-Grossmont League honors both senior and junior campaigns... 6-1 pitching record senior year with team reaching CIF semifinals and being crowned league champs... 6-4 junior year.
