PERSONAL: Alejandro (Alex) Gomez was born on December 13, 1994 in Mission Hills, Calif....he is the son of Maria and Aurelio Gomez...chose to attend USD because of the baseball program's prestige, the location, and wanted to stay in Southern California, where he was born and raised...notes he is an aspiring film director.
