Sophomore (2005): Played in 51 games, starting in 50...hit .282 with 53 hits, a team-leading 18 doubles, one triple and 30 RBI...recorded 14 multi hit games...went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored against Loyola Marymount (5/13/05)...went 3-for-5 with one double, one RBI and one run scored against Gonzaga (4/3/05)...went 2-for-4 with one double, two RBI and two runs scored against UC Riverside (2/6/05)...went 3-for-5 with three doubles against UC Riverside (2/4/05). Freshman (2004): Slick-fielding infielder, appearing in 19 games... Made five starts, three at shortstop and two at second base... Drove in six runs, doubling twice and hitting a triple in 34 at-bats... Made his first collegiate start at No. 5 Texas (2-8-04)... Had four RBI[apos]s in his six starts... Went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI against Navy (3-17-04)... Doubled and scored in a late-inning at-bat against St. Mary[apos]s (5-21-04)... Played behind First-Team All-WCC shortstop and future pro Jose Ortega.

High School: Three-time All-Hayward Area League selection as a prep player at Bishop O[apos]Dowd HS in Oakland... Named an All-State performer as a senior... Hit .420 and led O[apos]Dowd to a 22-7 overall record in 2003... Twice helped his prep team win the Hayward Area League Championship... Coached by Joel Kaufman at Bishop O[apos]Dowd.

Personal: Undecided on a major at USD... Heavily recruited out of high school by Stanford, Notre Dame, Baylor and Santa Clara... Chose to attend USD for the excellent academics... Son of Steve and Susan Singleton... Born on September 12, 1985 in San Francisco.
