Biography
PREVIOUS SCHOOL, INDOOR VOLLEYBALL (2022-2026)
- Spent the first four years of her college career playing indoor volleyball at USC before joining USD beach volleyball ahead of its inaugural 2026-2027 season
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2025 AT USC)
- Appeared in two matches and played in three sets, including one against San Diego on September 6
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2024 AT USC)
- Named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and to the Big Ten Fall All-Academic Team
- Played in 28 matches and saw action in 72 sets
- Totaled 55 kills (0.76 per set), 28 digs (0.39) and 26 blocks (0.36) to go with five service aces
- Tied a career-high four block assists against Michigan (Oct. 4)
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2023 AT USC)
- Named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll
- Played in 17 matches with four starts and saw action in 46 sets
- Totaled 70 kills (1.52 per set) with 19 blocks (0.41), 33 digs (0.72), four assists and a service ace
- Reached double-digit kills in two contests, highlighted by a career-high 13 kills against UC Davis (Sept. 8)
FRESHMAN (2022 AT USC)
- Redshirted her freshman season and did not see action
HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB
- Prepped at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, Calif., finishing her career with more than 500 kills and 150 blocks
- Named to the AVCA All-America Watch List and the 2020 AVCA Phenom List and earned an Under Armour All-America nomination
- Member of the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program
- Two-time West Catholic League first team selection
- Named to the PrepVolleyball.com Sophomore 79 and the Cal-Hi Sports All-State sophomore team
- Three-time Saint Francis Scholar-Athlete Award winner, four-time honor roll student and the school's Outstanding Senior Athlete
- Graduated Maxima Cum Laude
- Played for the Rage Westside Volleyball Club
PERSONAL
- Both to Robert and Heather Pietsch in San Carlos, California
- Her father, Robert Pietsch, played basketball at Cal Poly (1991-1992)
- Her uncle, Alan Lewis, played basketball at USD (1988-92), and her cousin, Morgan Lewis, played volleyball at Oregon (2019-23)
