• In 2017 Brian Doyle completed his second year with the USD football program
• Named to the PFL All-Academic Honor Roll (2017)
• Appeared in three games in a reserve role at linebacker
• Totaled three tackles (two solo) with one sack (-8 yards) vs. Morehead State (10/14)
• He sat out the 2016 campaign as a redshirt

• Playing for Fenwick High School in Western Springs, Illinois, Doyle's team had two winning seasons making it to the state quarterfinals
• His senior year, Doyle had 6 interceptions and 85 tackles

• Doyle hopes to follow closely in his brother, Packy Doyle's footsteps who played football at USD and continued on to play for the San Diego Chargers as a fullback and tight end 
• He chose USD over recruitment from Holy Cross, Harvard, Butler and Northwestern because of the academics, successful football program and location of the school.
