• All-PFL Honorable Mention
• Appeared in 10 of 12 games
• Recorded 33 tackles (24 solo), three interceptions, one QB hurry and one pass breakup
• Helped USD rank 3rd in the nation in total interceptions (19)
• Toreros were also 6th in the country in turnover margin and 9^th in turnovers gained
• Registered a season-high eight tackles (6 solo) at Jacksonville (Nov. 23)

JUNIOR (2018)

• Played in 10 of 12 games
• Registered career highs in total tackles (50), solo tackles (33), and assisted tackles (17)
• Fifth-most solo tackles (33) among USD players
• Recorded 3.0 tackles for loss (six yards)
• Grabbed an interception against Western New Mexico (Sept. 1)
• Logged four pass break-ups, with a season-best two at Morehead State (Oct. 6)
• Recovered a fumble against Jacksonville (Oct. 27)

SOPHOMORE (2017)

• Played in 13 games
• Registered 26 tackles, 18 solo and eight assisted
• Grabbed two interceptions and returned them for 62 yards
• Had three pass break-ups
• PFL Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 20)

• Appeared in 10 games and chipped in 9 tackles (5 solo), two pass breakups and two passes defended

• At Loyola High School in Northridge, California, Tolbert spent 3 years playing at a varsity level in football
• During this time he had 3 interceptions, 12 touchdowns, 5 forced fumbles and 2 fumbles recovered

• Tolbert signed with USD alongside his twin brother, David Tolbert
• He hopes to pursue a degree in finance during his time here
• The Division 1 football program is what drew him to USD along with the good academics and the fact that the campus is close to home for him
