USD: Third year player will compete with the special teams unit at punter... Last year named PFL First Team after averaging 42.2 yards on 55 punts with 16 inside opponent[apos]s 20-yard line... Also chipped in 11 tackles playing linebacker in reserve role... Was named 2008 PFL Honorable Mention, appearing in all 11 games for the Toreros... Had a season-best 6 unassisted tackles in a road victory over Drake...Ranked 10th on team with 20 total stops... Led team in punting with 27 punts for 1,108 yards (41.0 ave.)... Totaled 4 punts of 50+ yards including a season-best 62 yarder against Dayton... Against Flyers, totaled 4 punts for 190 yards (47.5 ave.). High School: Attended Clovis West HS... Senior year named Player of the Year for team, city and league... Totaled 105 tackles and 8 interceptions... Also averaged 46.7 yards per punt... Named 1st Team All-Section and 2nd Team All-State...
