USD: Nick Coppedge enters his fifth and final year at USD where he will move to the defensive side of the ball and compete with the defensive line unit... Last season appeared in 8 games at running back, mostly as a blocker... Did find the endzone twice in wins over Azusa Pacific and Campbell... Sat out 2005 season as a redshirt. High School: Prepped at Vista High School where he played for coach DAn Williams... Football team won two San Diego Section Championships... Senior year was named 2nd Team All-Avocado League and 2nd Team All-San Diego Union Tribune... Also lettered in baseball. Personal: Born on November 11, 1986 in San Diego, CA... Parnts are Lydia & Mark Coppedge of Santee, CA... Also recruited by UTEP and Nevada... Chose USD to stay close to home, football program and campus environment. Major: History.
