Biography
JUNIOR (2025-26)
- Appeared in 29 games while making 19 starts in his first season with the Toreros
- Averaged 5.7 points and 5.2 rebounds in 18.7 minutes
- Shot 49.6% (66-for-133) overall, 41.9% (18-for-43) and 60% (16-for-27) at the free throw line
- Posted 11 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists for his first collegiate triple-double against Bethesda (January 17)
- Logged a double-double with 21 points and 17 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes at Pepperdine (January 28)
- The 17 rebounds are tied for the eighth-most in a single game in program history
SOPHOMORE (2024-25 - COLORADO)
- Averaged 3.8 points and ranked fourth on the team in rebounding at 3.7 per game
- One of only three Buffaloes to appear in all 35 games, starting in 17 of them
- Had the sixth-highest free throw rate in the Big 12 at 79% (53 of 67)
- Led Colorado in scoring for the first time in a win over Bellarmine (Dec. 21) with career-highs of 15 points, 7 of 11 field goals made and attempted
- Had four games scoring in double figures, the last with 11 points at Texas Tech (March 8) where he was a perfect 4 of 4 from the field
- Twice hit double figures in rebounding, grabbing a career-best 10 against Northern Colorado (Nov. 8) and matching that in the home win over UCF (Feb. 15)
- Voted on by teammates as the Most Inspirational Award and Tebo Family P.A.S.S. Award winner
FRESHMAN (2023-24 - COLORADO)
- Saw action in 32 games, the most by any Buffs freshman, averaging 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in seven minutes per contest
- In a win over Oregon State (Jan. 20), scored a season best 10 points on 3 of 4 from the field and a perfect 4 of 4 from the free throw line while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out a pair of assists
- Grabbed a season best seven rebounds in a home win over California (2/28)
HIGH SCHOOL
- Spent his senior year with Accelerated Prep, a private basketball program associated with Accelerated Schools of Denver where he was a McDonald's All-American nominee
- A four-star and No. 2 ranked prospect in the state of Colorado, No. 74 nationally – 13th-best for his position – for the Class of 2023 according to ESPN ... He ranked No. 100 in the nation according to 247Sports
- Played his junior season at Denver Prep Academy, playing on The Grind Session, a national-travel basketball circuit, averaging eight points and nearly nine rebounds per game
- Helped Wesminster’s Belleview Christian to the Colorado Class 1A State Championship as a sophomore in 2020-21
- Played three years for the Colorado Hawks club team
PERSONAL
- A native of Rufisque, in the Senegal's capital region of Dakar, he moved to Colorado in January 2020 to pursue basketball and educational opportunities
- Dreamt of playing soccer until he played basketball for the first time at age 11
- Enjoys playing ping pong, bowling and is learning how to play pickle ball and tennis
- States he loves to golf even though he's not good (yet)
- Favorite music is the Senegalese genre Mbalax
- Frequents Chipotle and Wing Stop
