2010-11 at USD:Appeared in 29 games with 19 starts for Toreros... Averaged 7.5 ppg and 3.9 rpg while converting 50.9% from the field and 69.7% from the charity stripe... In WCC play averaged 8.0 ppg and 5.2 rpg... Season-high 21 points vs. LMU (2-3-11) while making 10-of-16 shots from the field... Followed that game up with lone double-double of the season (11 points-11 rebounds vs. Pepperdine)... Reached double digit scoring 9 times including 18 points in season finale against Pepperdine at WCC Tournament.

2009-10 at USD:Sophomore sat out the season due to NCAA transfer rules.

COLLEGE:Attended New Mexico State, competing in men[apos]s basketball for one season before choosing to transfer to USD...Played in 28 games, including 1 start, during the 2008-09 season for the Aggies, averaging 1.6 ppg and 2.0 rpg.

HIGH SCHOOL:Prepped at Jserra Catholic HS in San Juan Capistrano, CA...Played for coach Tom Lewis...In his junior season, he averaged a double-double while helping his team reach the CIF Southern Section Division I-AA Quarterfinals, before losing to Southern California state runner-up Dominguez.

PERSONAL:Born on December 19, 1988 in Cape Town, South Africa...Mother is Norma Gabriel...Chose to attend USD because it is the best place for him to play basketball and receive a great education...Also played AAU ball for the Southern California All-Stars.
